Darkness Moves is the imagined work of artist Matthew Swiezynski, a follower of the transcendental world understood by some as Darkness Moves. The path of moving darkness is at heart the pursuit of Time and Light in near darkness which can only be described as a flowering or transition from one world to another, or from a time no longer, into our modern world. Originally trained as a filmmaker, the work now encompasses sound, paint, and photography in addition to the moving image.
